they don't have copy paste option anymore, that is a huge negative to me. Plus you can't "choose a point" to start directions. Don't know why they would take features away but those make it worse to me.

On my BB if I go to: http://www.google.com/gmm/ I get a download link for 2.2.3, and if I click on that I get the real download page which also says the app is 2.2.3. Not sure what problem you are both running into, but it just worked for me.

Now that we know 2.2.3 removes the Voice Search option, that means that the image Ronen used above now counts as False Advertising :P

Ok, I'm confused!! After my rant, it seamed after this upgrade I didn't have to Accept any Terms of Agreement Statement, AND all my favorites are still there!!! I guess THAT is one thing that got fixed. Consider this my TIP of the day.

The Voice Search option never worked for my T-Mo 8320 anyway. I think Ronen said it a bit back that what this really needs is an ability to login to an account. Just last night I manually entered in all my favorite addresses again, a few days after installing 2.2.2. It is such a pain to have to put in all my favorite addresses after each time I upgrade. It could at least allow you to export to a file and then import them. Geeezz!!

They are correct, no voice search with thos version. However, this version seems much faster at getting a gps lock and also refreshing the map so I'm going to stick with it since voice search didn't work for me in 2.2.2 anyway.
