Trick To (Maybe) Get Voice Search In Google Maps
After we told you about the beta voice search in Google Maps for the 8100 pearl many of you tried to get it to work on other BlackBerry models. I personally had no luck until Shawn left a comment on the recent 2.2.2 release post giving a little trick to get it to work.
He said that you need to open Google Maps and click the menu button and go to help. Then click “Reset Google Maps.
That worked for my 8330 on Sprint but it still does not work on my 8310 from AT&T.
Maybe Google is slowly rolling out the feature? Not quite sure… Try it out and let us know!
