Shaun sent in this website that I found quite useful. It is a clean mobile website that gives you access to a wealth of information based on your location.
You just give it your zipcode or city and it will show you what is available customized to your location. There are quite a few clicks to go through to get the information you want but the website does load very quick.
The available information includes Eyewitness News, Weather, Traffic, Sports, Movies, School closings, Flight tracking, Lottery results, and Horoscopes.

It doesn’t appear very useful to me. It told me that a movie theater in the middle of a town that can’t be more than 10 miles wide was 25 miles away. It said the other theater in it’s list (it only gave 2) was 16 miles away when it is really more like 60. And it gave none of the theaters in between.
