Official Digg Mobile Version Looks Good!

While there have been quite a few unofficial mobile versions of Digg, Bla1ze just let me know that Digg has launched an OFFICIAL version of Digg mobile. You can get to it by pointing your browser to m.digg.com. Bla1ze pointed out that the site is definitely designed with the iPhone in mind but it still looks damn good on my BlackBerry.

Check it out for yourself at m.digg.com or in the screenshots below:

The site looks horrible on my Curve!! Doesn’t look like the screenshots at all!

  2. I’m running 4.5.0.55 on an 8300 and the screen shots were taken with BBScreen, the only thing I can think of javatyger is that your emulation mode is set differently or something like that…

PS: This is the second time, I have heard someone say it looks like crap so javatyger, are you jonv as well? lol..if so some of the credit for this post is yours

Looks just like this on mine… what is you OS javatyger….?

  4. The only graphic on my 8320 with OS4.2X is the digg logo in the corner (not the banner across). The rest is regular text, and the browser just keeps running scripts but doesn’t ever stop or do anything more on the screen.

  5. You have to go into your browser option and enable a bunch of stuff such as java support and display image as backgrounds and whatnot. i got mine to look like that one after spending a min or two in the options.

Actually looks good on my curve. digg it! :P

  6. Is it just my overbloated BlackBerry, or is this mobile site locking up any one else’s BlackBerry?

First time I tried the site I gave up after watching the hourglass for 10 minutes. This time I just left it alone, and got a Java Out Of Memory crash after about 15 minutes of waiting to try to log in.

    What’s up Digg?

  7. It does look nice but it could definitely be better. They need to let you digg comments up or down and also let you make comments yourself. I’m guessing this is still in beta.

  8. Yeah they have room for improvement but its nice of them to show that they care…
