Raffy just let me know that Google Maps for BlackBerry version 2.2.2 is now available. Raffy laat me weten dat Google Maps for BlackBerry versie 2.2.2 is nu beschikbaar. I tried going to Ik probeerde naar www.google.om/gmm www.google.om / gmm to download but it did not find the latest version. te downloaden maar het heeft niet de recentste versie. So… Dus ...

Which did work on my OS 4.5.0.55 8310. Welk werk deed op mijn OS 4.5.0.55 8310. No word yet on what features it adds but I am hoping that it adds voice activated search like the 2.2.1 Beta Geen woord nog niet over welke functies het voegt maar ik hoop dat het voegt spraak geactiveerd zoeken als de 2.2.1 Beta that they released for the Pearl dat ze vrijgegeven voor de Pearl . .

    Unfortunately, this does NOT add voice-activated search on my 8830/OS v4.2.2.196 (neither did the 2.2.1 beta). Helaas werkt dit niet toevoegen voice-activated zoeken op mijn 8830/OS v4.2.2.196 (noch heeft de 2.2.1 beta).

    Tom were you able to load any version higher then 2.2.0 on your 8830? Tom was je in staat om elke versie hoger dan 2.2.0 belasting op je 8830?

    I have voice enabled on my Cellular South 8330 running 4.5.0.51beta. Ik heb mijn stem ingeschakeld Cellular South 8330 draait 4.5.0.51beta. It seems to work though haven't tested it with a location locked in. A quick way to be sure if it's enabled on your device, is to check the help option. Het lijkt te werken maar nog niet getest met een locatie opgesloten inch Een snelle manier om zeker te zijn als het ingeschakeld op uw apparaat, wordt naar de help-optie te controleren. There will be a special section there just for voice searching…even has a demo. Er zal een speciale afdeling is er alleen voor spraak zoeken ... heeft zelfs een demo.

    Voice recognition is working for me on 2.2.0; Verizon Pearl 8130. Spraakherkenning werkt voor mij op 2.2.0; Verizon Pearl 8130.

    I guess it doesn't matter if the Voice Recognition works because I was never able to get it to work correctly on my 8320 under 2.2.1 anyway. Ik denk dat het niet uit of de spraakherkenning werkt, want ik was nooit in staat om correct te werken op mijn 8320 onder 2.2.1 toch.

    Can somebody verify if you need to have VAD installed in order for this to work properly? Kan iemand controleren of je moet hebben VAD geïnstalleerd om dit goed te laten werken?

    its faster overall to me. haar totale sneller naar mij. BUT voice search STILL doesn't freaking work on my 8310 on AT&T running 4.5.0.69….. MAAR stem zoeken nog steeds niet freaking op mijn 8310 over AT & T draait 4.5.0.69 ... .. JEEZ when will this work??? JEEZ wanneer zal dit werk??? and, yes, i have VAD installed… en ja, ik heb VAD geïnstalleerd ...

    doc: I loaded 2.2.1 and now 2.2.2 on my 8830 — neither supports voice-activated search. doc: Ik geladen 2.2.1 en nu 2.2.2 op mijn 8830 - noch ondersteunt voice-activated zoeken.

    Yea I got it on my 8320 but no voice search also. Ja ik heb het op mijn 8320, maar geen stem zoeken ook. (2.2.2) (2.2.2)

    It doesn't work on my 8830 4.5.0.52 on VZW. Het werkt niet op mijn 8830 4.5.0.52 op VZW. It would stop loading at 90% after asking me if I granted access to the radio location or something like that. Het zou het laden op 90% halte na te vragen of ik de toegang tot de radio locatie of iets dergelijks verleend. 2.2.1 did the same thing 2.2.1 deed hetzelfde

    Look at the link. Kijk naar de link. It says “blackberry-42″ not “blackberry-45″ so even though it is for 4.2 it still works on higher OSs. Het zegt "BlackBerry-42" niet "BlackBerry-45" dus zelfs al is het voor 4,2 het nog steeds werkt op het hoger Oss.

    Greeting peeps! Groeten peeps! I have os 4.5.0.52 on my 8310 curve and just tested the voice stuff on google maps 2.2.2 twice and got some error saying that there wasn't enough cell phone reception and to try again when i am getting a better signal…what?! Ik heb os 4.5.0.52 op mijn 8310 curve net getest en de stem spullen op Google Maps 2.2.2 tweemaal en kreeg een fout te zeggen dat er niet genoeg mobiele telefoon receptie en het opnieuw te proberen als ik het krijgen van een beter signaal wat ... ?! : P

    will try again tomorrow when i get out of my condo (read: concrete block) and have some better reception. opnieuw proberen morgen als ik uit mijn appartement (lees: betonnen blok) en hebben sommige betere ontvangst. peace out! peace out!

    Got it running on 4.5.0.69 on my 8310, and there is a voice search option though it's not working very well. Ik heb het draaien op 4.5.0.69 op mijn 8310, en er is een stem zoekoptie al is het niet werkt zeer goed. It can't understand what I'm saying. Het kan niet begrijpen wat ik zeg. I also noticed that this option only came up tonight as I was checking the maps, it wasn't there when I first installed this morning. Ik heb ook gemerkt dat deze optie alleen kwam vanavond als ik de kaarten aan het controleren was, het was er niet toen ik voor het eerst geïnstalleerd vanmorgen. Maybe Google is still slowly implementing it and is why it's not showing on the main Google Mobile site for download yet. Misschien is Google nog steeds langzaam de uitvoering ervan en is de reden waarom het niet getoond op de hoofdpagina van Google Mobile voor het downloaden nog niet.

    To get the voice to work when upgrading you need to go under help and click on reset google maps. Om de stem te werken bij het upgraden je nodig hebt om te gaan helpen in en klik op Google Maps herstellen. Works on my 8330 with os 4.5.0.51 Werkt op mijn 8330 met OS 4.5.0.51
