For example:
NOTE: Do not install this software if you do not know what you are doing. It may make your BlackBerry FUBAR or just plain angry.

I hope its a version for 8320 to follow. I downloaded the 4.5.0.55 yesterday and I don’t notice any change. I thought it would correct my bb messenger problem. No fix still. Come on RIM! What are you guys doing? Do I have to take a trip to Canada or what?

@ Lance G.
Try disabling Content Protection in your security settings, see if that fixes your BBM problem.

OMG!!! It was that frickin’ simple. I’ve been having this problem ever since .42! I can’t believe it was that simple. I’ve had content protection on since using os 4.2 but had no bb messenger problem until i upgraded to 4.5. I never thought it would be so easy. I’m gonna cry now….lol… I even uninstalled and reinstalled bb messenger. Wooooooow!

I put it on last night. It’s only improvement I’ve seen over .55 is that the folder options are back. You can change the folders to blue, green, orange, red, etc., again. Not that big of a deal, but it’s nice to see they are moving forward!

I’ve been testing it for a couple days and things started out pretty good, but every time I get an incoming call, my device restarts. Somehow I don’t think that’s how its supposed to work. Oh well.
