A friend of mine and theme developer, Akakios (formerly posted his themes on themes4bb), has recently let me know that he has created his own BlackBerry forum called Black Light Themes based on; Themes, Wallpapers and Ringtones. We have reviewed several of Akakios’s themes in the past, and they have all been wonderful. In fact, his Blue Plasma Zen theme is one that was my personal theme for months. It is nice to see a theme developer stepping up and going the extra mile and putting their themes all in one place.
The best part about this new forum and all it’s content, is that everything is FREE. They do ask that you register before you can download. I know the site is just starting up, but they already have close to 100 different themes for several different devices. You will probably be able to find something to fit your taste.
Black Light Themes has some great goodies including; themes for OS 4.5, some great ringtones and some pretty cool looking wallpapers. If you are a theme developer, you are able to post your own themes there free of charge.
All themes, ringtones and backgrounds are OTA only, so if for some odd reason you don’t have a data plan or are stuck behind your BES policies, you might want to look into BlackBerry OTA Downloader.
