AtomicHelix – PGP For BlackBerry
RIM released a PGP addon for BES a bit back that truly left smaller customers out in the cold. Atomic Helix has decided to pick up where RIM left off by offering a way for regular consumers to use PGP on their BlackBerrys.
The software works with OS 4.1 and higher but due to some constraints with the OS and older trackwheel BB’s it is not the most streamlined execution. On the other hand AtomicHelix seems to be dedicated to improving this product.
They do offer a demo version which is very useful for testing out how practical the application would be for you. The download is quite large at almost 1.5 Megabytes so this will probably only be for those that really need PGP.
There is an OTA and Desktop download available at this link for you to try out. The subscription is $49.95 CAD for the first year and $19.95 a year to maintain it. They sadly charge $4.95 every time you want to transfer the license from one device to another.
