Windows Live Messenger Updated To 2.1.32

windowslive I was just reading a post on PinStack by Aggieaj letting everybody know that Windows Live Messenger 2.1.32 is now available. It seems to be as stable as the 2.1.33 version of Google Talk. (Which is awesome by the way!)

You can pick up the latest version by going to:

www.blackberry.com/livemessenger/

For AT&T users. you may need to send your service books and then register your phone on the network again by going to Options->Advanced->Host Routing Table->menu button->register. For a few users I also found that a reboot was necessary to get the service books.

Bla1ze also let me know that Windows Live Messenger may not work for all users at this point in time.

A teir III data support rep told me that AT&T needs to provision the services for you, MOST people have had the provisioning pushed to their accounts, but some will not have it, this needs to be added via the RIM Relay aka BIS Admin Tool. CDS (consumer data support) Reps for AT&T have access to the services, if anyone is experiencing problems with logging in they should contact AT&T and ask them to add the provisioning..they show up in the BIS admin tool as “IM provisioning” once that has been added to the account it will then allow you to login to MSN.

Now, I have to say AT&T didn’t officially roll this out so some reps are gonna be oblivious to this fact, I only know cause well, it’s my job to know lol and of course my love for all things berry and just being nosy poking around AT&T systems in my free time 😉
