I know I was wondering where the current OS device simulators were until Richard enlightened me. Ik weet dat ik vroeg me af waar de huidige OS-apparaat simulatoren waren tot Richard verlicht mij. It turns out that after OS 4.3 RIM has started bundling the device simulators for 4.5 and now with 4.6 into the JDE. Het blijkt dat na OS 4.3 RIM is begonnen met het bundelen van het apparaat simulatoren voor 4.5 en nu met 4,6 in de JDE. They are no longer available for download separately. Ze zijn niet langer los verkrijgbaar voor download.

I have had quite a few people ask me where the simulators are so I thought I would mention it. Ik heb nogal wat mensen vragen me waar de simulatoren zijn dus ik dacht dat ik zou noemen. You just install the JDE and the simulator will be added to your machine. Je hoeft alleen installeert de JDE en de simulator zal worden toegevoegd aan uw machine. That way you can test your software or themes on the Bold or on OS 4.5. Op die manier kunt u testen uw software of thema's op de Vet of op OS 4.5. Obviously RIM partners already have access to a more advanced version of the 4.6 simulator but the one included inside the public beta JDE is not that bad. Uiteraard RIM partners hebben al toegang tot een meer geavanceerde versie van de 4,6 simulator, maar welke is opgenomen in de publieke bèta JDE is niet zo slecht.

Or if you are just like me you can use the 4.6 JDE Beta to get a chance to play around a bit more with the Bold 4.6 OS. Of als u net als mij kunt u gebruik maken van de 4.6 Beta JDE om een kans om te spelen rond een beetje meer met de Stoute 4.6 OS.

    Simulators have been included in the JDE packages for quite some time. Simulators zijn opgenomen in de JDE pakketten voor geruime tijd. I honestly cannot recall an individual simulator package until the late 4.1 stages. Ik eerlijk gezegd niet kan herinneren een individuele simulator pakket tot in de late 4,1 fasen. Once you start having actual carrier releases of the supported devices and/or the new OS's, the individual simulator packages will be made available. Zodra u begint met feitelijke vervoerder releases van de ondersteunde apparaten en / of het nieuwe OS, de individuele pakketten simulator beschikbaar zal worden gesteld.

    Just to let you know, there *is* a 9000/4.6 simulator package that is not part of the JDE. Gewoon om u te laten weten, is er * is * een 9000/4.6 simulator pakket dat geen deel uitmaakt van de JDE. It's a tad over 80MB in size (a zip file) for OS 4.6.0.9x. Het is een tikkeltje meer dan 80 MB in grootte (een zip-bestand) voor OS 4.6.0.9x.

    So no Thunder simulator yet? Dus geen Thunder simulator nog? Or that was 4.7? Of dat was 4,7?

    From what I understand they have been in the JDE for awhile but some people (like me) were used to downloading the simulators separately at this link: Van wat ik begrijp ze zijn in de JDE voor een tijdje, maar sommige mensen (zoals ik) werden gebruikt voor het downloaden van de simulatoren afzonderlijk op deze link:

    I just wanted to make sure that everybody knew where to find them now. Ik wilde alleen maar om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen wist waar ze te vinden nu.
    I also tried the latest OS 4.6.0.92 simulator and did not notice much improvement but it looks good. Ik heb ook geprobeerd de laatste OS 4.6.0.92 simulator en merkte niet veel verbetering, maar het ziet er goed uit. I wonder why RIM did not include it in the Beta JDE… Ik vraag me af waarom RIM niet te nemen in het Beta JDE ...

    Yeah, simulators have been bundled with the JDE since before 4.3; I just didn't want to sound like a jerk and “correct” the same post twice in the same day. Ja, hebben simulatoren zijn gebundeld met de JDE sinds vóór 4.3; ik gewoon niet wilde klinken als een eikel en de "juiste" dezelfde post twee keer op dezelfde dag. :) Figured it was water under the bridge. Dacht was het water onder de brug.

    It's cool; maybe if I got outside more I'd have a life outside of mobile development. It's cool, misschien als ik buiten meer ik had een leven hebben buiten mobiele ontwikkeling. :)

    No worries Richard! No worries Richard! I just got about 10 emails in the last week asking for the bold simulator. Ik heb ongeveer 10 e-mails in de afgelopen week vragen om de vetgedrukte simulator. I wanted to let everybody know. Ik wilde iedereen laten weten.

    Anyone know why my Plazmic 4.5 would not be able to find the simulators installed with the JDE? Iedereen weet waarom mijn Plazmic 4.5 niet in staat zou zijn om de simulatoren geïnstalleerd met de JDE vinden?

    Couple of issues. Paar onderwerpen. First, as Nathan says, they don't appear to work with the Plazmic 4.5 CDK. Ten eerste, zoals Nathan zegt ze niet lijken te werken met de Plazmic 4,5 CDK. Which is odd, since this version of the CDK is ONLY for OS 4.5. Wat vreemd is, aangezien deze versie van de CDK is ALLEEN voor OS 4.5. Which means that it's impossible to test content (like themes) with a simulator though tool integration. Dat betekent dat het onmogelijk is om te testen inhoud (zoals thema's) met een simulator wel tool integratie. You need to do this manually. Je moet dit handmatig doen.

    Seems off that Plazmic would have links of the CDK page to simulators that aren't 4.5 and therefore don't work. Schijnt uit dat Plazmic banden van de CDK pagina simulatoren die niet zijn 4.5 en dus niet werken zou hebben.

    Second issue, I can't get this working under Vista. Tweede kwestie, kan ik niet krijgen deze werken onder Vista. When I run the simulator tool, it immediately crashes. Toen ik de simulator gereedschap uitvoert, crasht het onmiddellijk. Not sure if this is a Vista issue or something else. Niet zeker of dit een Vista probleem of iets anders.

    Third issue, some of us aren't developing in Java and don't need a whole JDK to have use for a simulator. Derde kwestie, zijn sommige van ons niet ontwikkelen in Java en hoeft niet een hele JDK te gebruiken voor een simulator hebben. I like simulators to test software before loading on my device. Ik houd simulatoren om software te testen voordat het laden op mijn apparaat. And, more recently, to test themes I'm working on (see issue #1). En, meer recent, om te testen thema's waar ik aan werk (zie nummer # 1). Since I don't have a Java dev environment on my machine, I don't meet to prerequisites. Aangezien ik geen Java-dev milieu kunnen hebben op mijn machine, ben ik het niet voldoen aan voorwaarden. Nor do I want to. Evenmin wil ik. Maybe this is the reason for issue #2?
