Free Urban Groove OS 4.5 Theme For 8300, 8700, & 8800
July 23rd, 2008 by Ronen Halevy
Cmccrary released a slick new theme using the new Plazmic CDK. He created the same theme in a couple different variations. Different strokes and all. The themes look nice and clean and the blue highlighting actually looked pretty good with a couple of my Backgrounds. Nothing extravagant but still shows off what you can do with the new version of Plazmic
Sadly the installation is Desktop Manager only for now. You can pick up the files at the original release on PinStack. You may need an application like 7-Zip to open the zip files that the install comes in. Nice work Cmccrary!

Thank you, I’m glad you like them. Pearl versions are on the way.

I like these themes, but are all the zen icons fixed? I can’t seem to move them around or add icons for 3rd party apps that I have installed. I hardly use all of those standard apps and the ones that I do use, I use keyboard shortcuts for.

Unfortunately, they are all fixed. The theme builder software only lets you pre-assign the icons, so you can’t move them around.
sorry. i wish i could move them around too

I can’t download these themes!!! They are all .rar files and I need to know the difference between them and .alx because that is all e ones I have been able to use, .alx. I am running 4.5 OS and have a BB Curve 8330.

.rar is like a zip file but just a different standard.
You can open it using the free application http://www.7-zip.org/ and extract it just like you would a zip file.
