A bit back the developer of BlackBerrySmart, Neil, started a blog to discuss BlackBerry development. He had the lofty goal of enticing other developers to embrace the BlackBerry platform. After a few months Neil noticed that he had become disillusioned by the lack of attention RIM gives to their developers and the difficulties of developing for the BlackBerry.
Well now Neil is back with a different attitude. DevBerry will no longer be focused exclusively on BlackBerry development. He also seems to have given up ranting about RIM since he equated that with “Shouting at a brick wall.”
With his first post back on DevBerry Neil describes perfectly what the Apple iPhone has brought to the table is truly revolutionary. Its all about the application platform.
