AT&T Navigator Now Works Globally - In 20 Countries
…and still no on device maps. Seriously TeleNav if you don’t get with the program somebody else will…
I was just reading on TBGR about how TeleNav/AT&T Navigator now works in 20 different countries. (China, Caribbean, and others) I guess that explains the significant version bump that Oliver emailed in as a tip earlier this week.
You obviously now have to pay more per month ($19.99) to get the extra countries on top of paying data roaming fees. I might not object to the higher price but if the maps were on the device.
I have to say that TeleNav is the best portable GPS solution I have seen to date on a cellphone. I am just starting to get tired of losing my GPS navigation when I am out of cellphone range. I got lost in Vermont once just because of that.

Google maps is free and does a great job overseas with just cell tower location technology.
