SameCell 2.0 Released - Cool New Features!

SameCell started out as a simple location based social networking app and now is growing in features. The new version 2.0 brings quite a few new features upgrades to the plate that are sure to please:
- Locate your lost or stolen BlackBerry by being able to find its last location. You can also use it to share your location with a friend who has the password
- New tabbed user interface makes it easier to use
- Cool location & privacy features - You can share your exact GPS location or your approximate location. The app will also let you know who you are sharing your location with and who is sharing back.
- You can tag & share places from the application. Kind of fun to geotag the your little world and share it with friends.
- Just like you can tag places you can also tag events.

Do you have to have BlackBerry Maps installed to get all the features? I don’t have BB maps installed, because I use Google Maps and don’t want to have both if I only need one. Anyone?

When i add a new contact to follow it freezes in the address book on my 8310. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah I have the same Problem. When Trying too Add People from my Address Book It freezes also. I’m currently running the latest OS for the 8310.

We have identified and fixed a bug that affected certain OS 4.3 and 4.5 devices causing an address book freeze when attempting to add a friend. You can upgrade to the new version (2.05) at:
