Ever do an OS upgrade on your BB and worry that your 3rd party applications will be forever lost if you mess up? You are in luck because there is now a way to backup all your applications to your PC from your BlackBerry. 1. 1. Run Desktop Manager and connect your Berry to your computer. Run Desktop Manager und verbinden Sie Ihren Berry auf Ihrem Computer.

2. 2. Once the phone is connected  click on the Switch device wizard icon and it will take you to the screen shown above. Click Start and it will take you to the next picture where you have some options. 3. 3. Once all your applications have been back up to your PC temporarily a screen will pop up asking you to plug in the new device (see image above). Do not unplug your phone yet! This is very important since if you unplug your phone the temporary file might disappear. Do not hit cancel on this screen and just leave your phone plugged into the computer and minimize desktop manger.     Could you please mention which version of Desktop Manager you are referring to? Könnten Sie bitte erwähnen, welche Version des Desktop Manager Sie sich beziehen?     Hey Nick I am using 4.6 to do this and have not used 4.5 and the options should be there make sure u use the swith device option not the back up option. Hey Nick ich bin mit 4,6, dies zu tun und nicht verwendet haben 4,5 und die Optionen sollten dort stellen Sie sicher, u swith Gerät verwenden Sie die Option nicht die Sicherung Option.

    Instead of going through all of that searching nonsense, you can just type %temp% in your address bar and it will bring you to your Temp folder. Anstatt durch alle Benutzer, die Unsinn, können Sie einfach% temp% in die Adresszeile eingeben und es bringt Sie zu Ihrem Ordner "Temp" zu bringen. From here, it is easy to recognize the folder with your PIN as its name, provided you have things sorted by Name.     %temp% is good but in my experience after doing this many times that does not work with every PC Operating system. % temp% ist gut, aber nach meiner Erfahrung nach tun dies oft, dass nicht bei jedem PC-Betriebssystem arbeiten. Good Luck. Viel Glück.

    ok so i did all that but how does it work? Ok, damit ich tat alles, aber wie funktioniert es? if i need to back it up how do i do it? wenn ich es zurück bis Wie muss ich es tun? it doesnt say anything your instructions are no good! it doesnt sagen Ihre Anweisungen sind nicht gut!

      sorry took a while to get back at you with this,, any ways one know where the file is located and you need to reload something just start DM and add that file just it will work just like if you were adding any other application except that all your 3rd party apps are store on that single file. sorry dauerte eine Weile, um wieder an Sie mit diesem, alle Möglichkeiten ein, wo die Datei liegt, und Sie müssen etwas neu zu laden und starten Sie einfach DM-Datei hinzufügen, dass es eben genau wie wenn Sie das Hinzufügen einer anderen Anwendung der Ausnahme, dass Arbeit wird alle 3rd-Party-Anwendungen sind Speicher auf, dass einzelne Datei.
