I don't know if any of you have been having problems with Je ne sais pas si certains d'entre vous ont eu des problèmes avec SoftReset SoftReset since your upgrade to OS 4.5. depuis votre mise à jour à OS 4.5. I know I was sure bummed out when I upgraded and found out that my most commonly used application didn't work. Je sais que j'étais sûr dégouté quand j'ai mis à jour et j'ai découvert que mon application la plus couramment utilisée ne fonctionne pas. Stupid “Uncaught exception java.lang.Illegal Argument Exception” error! Stupid "Exception non rattrapée Argument java.lang.Illegal Exception" error!

So today I ran into Donc aujourd'hui je suis tombé sur this post from PinStack ce poste de PinStack regarding the problem. concernant le problème. It doesn't look like it has worked for everyone, but it worked for me so I thought that it was worth sharing. You need to modify the permissions for the “Email Setup Application” so that they all say “Allow” you do this by going into: Options – Advanced Options – Applications- scroll down to “Email Setup Application” click the menu button and select “Edit Default Permissions” and change all of them so that they say “Allow”. Go back to the main screen, making sure to save your changes, and try SoftReset. Retournez à l'écran principal, en veillant à sauvegarder vos changements, et essayer SoftReset.     Thanks for the “tip” it works “again” on 8100 with OS4.5.0.52. Merci pour le conseil "" ça marche "à nouveau" sur 8100 avec OS4.5.0.52.

    I had that java.lang error with a lot of applications after a 4.5 install. J'ai eu cette erreur java.lang avec beaucoup de demandes après un 4,5 installer. I saw a tip that you “have to install documents to go” during the installation of OS 4.5 to get rid of this issue.     Soft Reset was made because the Pearl doesn't have a shortcut key combo for a soft reset. Soft Reset a été faite parce que la perle n'a pas de combinaison de touches de raccourci pour une réinitialisation logicielle. The software allows Pearl users to reset without a battery pull (or did until OS 4.5, and hopefully does again now). Le logiciel permet aux utilisateurs de réinitialiser Pearl sans batterie de traction (ou n'ont jusqu'à OS 4.5, et ne nous l'espérons à nouveau maintenant).

    If you have a different device you don't really need this application since you have the shortcut keys available. Si vous avez un appareil, vous n'avez pas vraiment besoin de cette application puisque vous avez les touches de raccourcis disponibles.

    I have also found that with my 8830, the memory leak issue was cleared better by using this program than by doing the “ALT-NUM-DEL” keypress.     I have tmobile 8100. J'ai tmobile 8100. I did that but my ball doesn't want to change color no more. Je l'ai fait, mais ma balle ne veut pas changer de couleur rien de plus. I even bought a program called PimpMyPearl that is kindof like color pearl but it had options to animate the colors abd that doesn't want to work on my os 4.5. J'ai même acheté un programme appelé PimpMyPearl qui est kindof comme des perles, la couleur, mais elle avait des options pour animer les couleurs abd qui ne veulent pas travailler sur mon OS 4.5.     I have the Curve 8310 and I did what you said and reinstalled the Soft Reset. J'ai l'Curve 8310 et j'ai fait ce que vous avez dit et réinstallé le soft reset. And it worked with no problems! Et cela a fonctionné sans aucun problème! ^_^ Thanks! ^ _ ^ Merci!

    fixed worked great for me. fixe a travaillé beaucoup pour moi. AT&T Pearl 8120. AT & T Pearl 8120. (the WiFi one) (le WiFi un)

    My understanding would be that "reboot" = a hard reset. Ma compréhension serait que "reboot" = une réinitialisation matérielle. (Though I am just guessing on this one and happy to be corrected) (Bien que je devine juste sur celui-ci et heureux d'être corrigée)

    Select "reboot now" and off you go! Sélectionnez "Redémarrer maintenant" et c'est parti!

    The soft reset fix didn't work for me.Pearl 8130, Alltel,4.5.0.89 Le correctif réinitialisation logicielle n'a pas fonctionné pour me.Pearl 8130, Alltel, 4.5.0.89

    I did find an app that does work, QuickPull. Je n'ai pas trouvé un soft qui ne fonctionne, QuickPull. It has a scheduling option too. Il a une option de planification aussi.
