Brandy Brandy just let me know that Plazmic has released their 4.5 Content Developers Kit!!! laat me weten dat Plazmic heeft vrijgegeven hun 4.5 Content Developers Kit! I guess they just completely skipped over the 4.3 CDK. Ik denk dat ze gewoon helemaal overgeslagen de 4,3 CDK.

This is great news for everybody and means that some HOT new themes will start peaking up over the horizon. Dit is geweldig nieuws voor iedereen en betekent dat een aantal nieuwe thema's HOT start een piek van boven de horizon.

    Note: Themes created in Theme Builder are only supported on BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry software v4.2 or higher. Opmerking: Thema's gemaakt in Theme Builder worden alleen ondersteund op BlackBerry-apparaten werkt met BlackBerry-software v4.2 of hoger.

That means that no OS 4.2 or 4.3 themes will come from this CDK Dat betekent dat er geen OS 4.2 of 4.3 zal komen thema's uit deze CDK

    I am hoping that this is not the case. Ik hoop dat dit niet het geval. In previous releases of Themebuilder a theme could be exported to a lower OS. In voorgaande versies van Themebuilder kan een thema worden geëxporteerd naar een lagere OS. Lets hope this holds true with 4.5. Laten we hopen dat dit geldt met 4.5.

    I have yet to install it…if someone could verify this, it would be appreciated. Ik heb nog om het te installeren ... als iemand dit zou kunnen controleren, zou het op prijs gesteld.

    Thats what it meant with the Plazmic 4.5 beta. Thats wat het betekende met de Plazmic 4.5 beta. In the 4.5 beta you could not export to a lower OS than 4.5. In de 4.5 Beta je niet kan exporteren naar een lager dan OS 4.5. Sad… But come september everybody with a 8XXX handheld should have 4.5 available to them Sad ... Maar kom september iedereen met een 8xxx handheld moeten 4,5 tot hun beschikking

    Well…its unfortunate, but Custom themes can only be exported under OS 4.5 with this release. Nou ... het jammer, maar aangepaste thema's kunnen alleen worden uitgevoerd onder OS 4.5 met deze release.

    You can release Zen, Today and Icon under Os's from 4.2 through 4.5. U kunt release Zen, Vandaag en Icon onder OS's van 4,2 tot 4,5. Custom themes are limited to OS 4.5. Aangepaste thema's zijn beperkt tot OS 4.5.

    I think Plazmic dropped the ball on that one. Ik denk dat Plazmic liet de bal op die ene. They could have made the custom themes exportable in OS 4.3, 4.3 and 4.5. Zij zouden hebben gemaakt van de aangepaste thema's uit te voeren in OS 4.3, 4.3 en 4.5.

    Well..off to create themes! Nou .. off om thema's te maken!

    Steve you have to shut your trap. Steve je je val dicht. Plazmic didnt drop any balls. Plazmic didnt drop geen ballen. It is you whos the ball dropper. Het is u whos de bal druppelaar. Ungrateful POS. Ondankbaar POS. By now you should have OS 4.5 and stop complaining about your 4.2-4.3 bs. Door je nu moet hebben OS 4.5 en stoppen met klagen over uw 4.2-4.3 bs.

    I do HAVE OS 4.5 installed on my 8320. Ik heb OS 4.5 geïnstalleerd op mijn 8320. NOT everyone out there will upgrade their OS, for whatever reason. Niet iedereen die er zullen verbeteren van hun besturingssysteem, om welke reden dan ook.

    If we were going to design custom themes, we should be able to design them for ALL the OS' out there. Als we gingen aangepaste thema's ontwerpen, moeten we ze kunnen ontwerpen voor ALLE het OS 'out there. Plazmic should have atleast given the user the option to export a theme in OS 4.2 or 4.3. Plazmic moet atleast hebben gegeven de gebruiker de optie om een thema in OS 4.2 of 4.3 exporteren. They left that option there for the Zen, Icon and Today themes…how hard would would it to be to add that option for the custom themes? Ze lieten die optie er voor de Zen, Icon en Today's ... hoe zou het moeilijk zou worden om die optie voor de aangepaste thema's toe te voegen?

    And..I'm not ungrateful. En .. ik ben niet ondankbaar. I simply voiced an opinion. Ik gewoon een uitgesproken mening.

    With a little “push” from Constabl on BBF… I've figured out how to export Custom themes in a lower os. Met een beetje "push" van Constabl op BBF ... Ik heb uitgezocht hoe u aangepaste thema's exporteren in een lagere os.

    you need to edit some files..but its REAL easy. je moet een aantal bestanden .. bewerken, maar haar REAL gemakkelijk. Do it at your OWN RISK…. Doe het op je EIGEN RISICO ....

    1) make sure Themebuilder is CLOSED 1) Zorg ervoor Themebuilder is GESLOTEN

    2) locate the Plazmic CDK 4.5 directory in Program files. 2) Zoek de Plazmic CDK 4,5 directory in Program Files.

    3) go to the directory RESOURCES 3) ga naar de directory MIDDELEN

    4) select the file THEMES 4) Selecteer het bestand THEMA'S

    5) look for 2 folders. 5) op zoek naar 2 mappen. 1 is dimension240×260, the other dimension 320×240. 1 dimension240 × 260, de andere dimensie 320 × 240.

    6) within the dimension 240×260 there is a file called 8100Custom. 6) in de maat 240 × 260 is er een bestand genaamd 8100Custom.

    7) Edit the following lines to look like this: 7) Bewerk de volgende regels als volgt uitzien:
    The files are located in the Resource/Theme directories, then the 240×260 directory (will have the 8100 files) the 320×240 (will have the 8300, 8800 files) I'd suggest not changing the 7100 or 8700 (is there an os 4.5 for 8700?) files/ De bestanden bevinden zich in de Resource / Thema mappen, is de 240 × 260 directory (zal de 8100-bestanden) van de 320 × 240 (zullen de 8300, 8800-bestanden) ik stel niet het wijzigen van de 7100 of 8700 (is er een os 4.5 voor 8700?) bestanden /

    these are the lines you edit: Dit zijn de lijnen die u bewerken:

    theme.supportedHandheldOs = 4.2.2,4.5 theme.supportedHandheldOs = 4.2.2,4.5
    theme.preferredHandheldOs = 4.5 theme.preferredHandheldOs = 4.5
    theme.importOs = 4.2.2,4.3.1 theme.importOs = 4.2.2,4.3.1

    8) Go to the dimension320×240 file and do the same for the 8300Custom, 8800Custom. Ga naar de dimension320 × 240 bestand en doe hetzelfde voor de 8300Custom, 8800Custom.

    I don't think you will find it necessary to edit the 7100 or the 8700 (are the 8700's going to be using OS 4.5?) Ik denk niet dat u vindt het nodig om het bewerken van de 7100 of de 8700 (de 8700 gaat gebruiken OS 4.5?)
