HOT!!! HOT! RIM Officially Releases BES 4.1.6 (Service Pack 6) RIM Officieel Releases BES 4.1.6 (Service Pack 6)
SanaTizer just sent in a tip that RIM has posted BES 4.1.6 on their website. SanaTizer net verzonden in een tip dat RIM heeft BES 4.1.6 geplaatst op hun website. That means that Service Pack 6 of BES 4.1 is now official! Dat betekent dat Service Pack 6 van BES 4.1 is nu officieel! This is a bit of a surprising move to me but hey I won't complain. Dit is een beetje een verrassende overstap naar mij, maar hey ik zal niet klagen.
BES 4.1.6 brings: BES 4.1.6 brengt:
- HTML email to BES emails by default (no hack needed) HTML e-mail naar e-mails BES standaard (geen hack nodig)
- Support for IBM Lotus Sametime 8.0 Ondersteuning voor IBM Lotus Sametime 8.0
- Support for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Ondersteuning voor Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007
- Controls for new RIM released applications Controles RIM vrijgegeven voor nieuwe toepassingen
- Some sort of new Calendar Synchronization tool for BES admins Een soort van nieuwe kalender synchronisatie tool voor BES admins
- And a bunch of other things like renaming services and database changes En een heleboel andere dingen zoals het hernoemen van diensten en database wijzigingen

What did annoy me in the release notes was this one line: Wat deed ergeren mij in de release notes is dit een regel:
Research In Motion (RIM) plans to discontinue support for the “You were BCC'd” portion of messages as of BlackBerry Research In Motion (RIM) plannen ter ondersteuning stop te zetten voor de "U was BCC'd"-gedeelte van berichten van de BlackBerry
Enterprise Server version 5.0 Enterprise Server versie 5.0
Why would they do that? Waarom zouden ze dat doen?
