BlackBerry Thunder Keyboard Caught On Camera!
So the touchscreen BlackBerry is still a ways off but Kevin @ CrackBerry has managed to snag some pics of the touchscreen live. One shot is of the keyboard in landscape mode which is full QWERTY. The second is in portrait mode with a screwy kind of SureType going on.

I really hope there is an option to choose between QWERTY and SureType in portrait mode! While SureType may be functional I find it nowhere near the convenience of a full QWERTY keyboard.
Kevin is also confirming that the whole touchscreen has a click on it when you push down with some haptics feedback. There is also a glass screen and multitouch features on the device. Check out Kevin’s full analysis at this link.
Pretty cool stuff. Just to end on a depressing note it looks like the device above is still composing in PlainText mode. Here I was hoping to see HTML email composition…

Haha Okay it was already posted.
I am falling in love with this phone more and more
.
I can only imagine how SMALL the touchable keys are would be if its full QWERTY in portrait. I’m not a huge Suretype fan, but it beats T9 hands down and seems the perfect solution for portrait vs. Landscape without RIM having to dream another input method (and code into OS’s).
