RIM Picasa Application Seems To Be Gone For Good
I had big hopes for this application. I actually saw it working at CES in January. Fully functional and everything, even geotagging! I got fed up with RIM and ranted about this earlier last month and got nowhere with any of my contacts. There was a rumor that it got scrapped due to difficulties and the Flickr app replaced it. Can’t confirm or deny that.
One of our readers Jeremy sent me an email today that put the final nail in the coffin. He spotted the fact that the pages on RIM’s website that used to refer to the Picasa application have all been pulled. They now all result with 404 page not found errors.
You can see for yourself:

Seriously what a shame… I really hope I am wrong and this is just a fluke.
