Imagine Getting 44,000 Spam Emails A Day!
I was just reading this crazy article on Mashabe by Stan Schroeder. Supposedly this poor soul named Colin Wells gets about 44,000 Spam messages a day! Thats 16 million a year!
Turns out that ClearMyMail, a service that guarantees to stop Spam, published a list of their most spammed email addresses in the UK. Colin won the grand prize. A years supply of SPAM. (just kidding)
If I were Colin I would definitely be changing my email address. I complain about getting 200 pieces of Spam a day I cant imagine 44,000.
Stan smartly suggests that you use a Mailinator email address to sign up for all those sites that demand your email for no reason. That should make sure nobody ends up like Colin. Check out Mailinator at www.mailinator.com
So how much SPAM do you get in one day?
