Screencandy Of BlackBerry Thunder Media Player

Personally I am more interested in the purported DivX support but BBSync has managed to score some pictures of the Thunder media player. You remember the Thunder CDMA touchscreen right? Well its starting to look like and iPod… Classic

RIM is really stepping things up if these pictures are real. The media player is leaps and bounds ahead of the current BlackBerry media player from the looks of things. Sadly it still does not look half as good as the video menu on my iPod Touch. (fugly square buttons!) Maybe RIM could steal one of Apple’s GUI designers?

I think this phone looks beautiful. I’m not the biggest fan of touchscreens but i think i will be upgrading to this phone when it is released.

Man, if this thing had a slide out keyboard (perhaps the “angled” keyboard we saw a while back on a RIM patent application???) I’d be all over it. The screen is gonna be gorgeous. I can but dream of being able to read emails on such a large screen without as many page scrolls as I have to do now on my 8830.

    My ultimate Blackberry:

And who’s to say Thunder ISN’T this device??? Did anyone ELSE notice on BG’s post http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2008/06/08/blackberry-thunder-live-shot-damn-were-good/ where the green call button also lists a function called “Open the phone”? Just what could “Open the phone” mean, huh???

Then again, do we know for sure if Thunder won’t be this:
