Anyvite – Evite With A Mobile & Practical Twist
One of the things that always pissed me off about Evite was that they were not mobile friendly. Their emails are cryptic with one line of text and a link that sends you back to their site. They also have no mobile version of the site. The only even remotely mobile friendly part of the site is the ability to send the address as an SMS message. They don’t even try…
So when I read about Anyvite on TechCrunch I was interested. It has a mobile version at m.anyvite.com. You can respond and/or RSVP to a invite just by replying to the email! You can also get SMS or Email updates of changes in case plans change while your in transit.

Check it out at www.anyvite.com. Evite could learn a thing or two from these guys!

Funny, I have been using m.evite.com/evite/ for months, and really like it.
You dont know how much I looked for this and could not find it anywhere. They have a mobile site!!!
We have our 4th of july BBQ on Evite and it has been a pain in the ass. It looks like crap on my BlackBerry and offered me no option to check out the mobile version of the site!
I am definitely posting about this. Nice catch Nikolaus!
[...] I wrote about Anyvite being better than Evite because it has mobile access Nikolaus corrected me. It turns out that Evite does have a mobile website. It is not a bad mobile [...]
I don’t know how I originally found this but I don’t remember it being hard. Maybe they used to advertise it better or something.
