FlipSwap - Tradein Or Recycle Your BlackBerry
I know this is not a new concept but I had never seen this site before. I was recommended to go to it by my local Red Cross to donate my cellphone. I actually had a few very old cellphones lying around that I donated to charity through FlipSwap.
They offer you a trade-in price which is significantly less that what you would get on eBay but it is pretty decent considering that they pay for shipping. They even accept your old worthless phones which they recycle. (Or send to 3rd world countries)
For example the trade-in value is relatively decent on some phones
8110 – $107.71
8320 – $177.29
8820 – $164.63
They are even offering to take your BlackBerry 9000 off your hands for @281.64

Its worth checking out if you are too lazy to put your old Berry on Craigslist or eBay. Just head to www.flipswap.com

Very happy to see my 8320 is fairing the best at $177.29

Why would someone get rid of an 8320? Is that “old” already? I love the pale gold one.

Wow you YOU are the one who does then…

I sent my phones to them in perfect condition. When they were received they claimed that the hinges were broken and they reduced the amount to $0.00. They won’t send the phones back. The phones obviously didn’t get broken hinges in the mail….I would have almost belived that the screens were cracked or somthing like that. But broken hinges. Come on. This place is a scam!

Good to know! Did you find a better service?

No. This just happened to me this past week. I wish I had read a review like mine before I sent my phones to them! If I hear of any good companies that offer this service I will post it.

I just send them my old pearl and it worked well. It showed me that the full value was sent out…I like the site.
