MyPoynt Beta Version 0.8.3 Released - Still Free

Peter dropped by on our post to mention that MyPoynt has been upgraded. Jorge awarded MyPoynt a 9/10 in our review so I thought the upgrade would be worth mentioning.Mypoynt7

The new release brings:

  • Added favorites
  • Added full integration with address book (search from a contact with poynt
  • Add a listing to the address book
  • Manage your favorite locations
  • Clear your search history (in options and settings)
  • Manually change connection type (in options and settings)
  • Bug fixes

    Does u still need a GPS enabled BB to get the full effect of this app?

    I had a previous version of this and you did not NEED GPS, but it would be better for sure.

    Hi folks,

    You do not need a GPS device to use Poynt. However, if you have a blackberry that does not come with a GPS chip, you do have the option of buying a bluetooth GPS device, which will work with Poynt.
