I know that this application has been mentioned before, but I just got it yesterday and I had to talk about it in greater detail! Ik weet dat deze aanvraag is eerder gezegd, maar ik heb het gisteren en ik had om te praten over het meer in detail!

Anyone who uses their BlackBerry on an Enterprise Server, should seriously consider this application. Empower BES MailBox is een carrière spaarder voor mij. Those of you on a BES know that your Desktop messages populate into the handy “Messages” folder… as do ALL of your other messages from your various associated email accounts you have set up through BIS. The work around for this is often setting up a custom search for Desktop messages, and saving the search to a shortcut key, but that only helps so much. Que BES MailBox- Basically what the program does, is it creates a saved search and ties it to an icon on your homescreen. The icon functions much in the same way as a typical mailbox icon, including a distinct notification icon when you have an unread message. The only negative things that I can possibly think of, are that underneath it all, its still a search.     Latest BES version already has this built-in. Laatste BES versie al heeft deze ingebouwd.

    Um, I'm wondering why not just keep the icon for that particular mailbox unhidden on your desktop? Eh, ik ben benieuwd waarom niet gewoon het pictogram te houden voor die mailbox unhidden op uw bureaublad? And use profiles to assign that email account a distinctive notification method? En gebruik profielen toe te wijzen dat e-mail account een onderscheidend kennisgeving methode? I mean, if you've got a half dozen email addresses on your berry, it can be quite confusing browsing through the Messages app (where they are all moshed together into one inbox), but every email address can have it's own separate icon on the desktop so I'm not getting the point of paying $20 for this??? Ik bedoel, als je een half dozijn e-mailadressen op uw bes hebt, het kan nogal verwarrend zijn bladeren door de berichten app (waar ze allemaal samen in een inbox moshed), maar elke e-mail adres kan hebben een eigen aparte icoon op bureaublad dus ik ben niet de plaats van het betalen van $ 20 voor deze krijgen???

    Joe–Thank you very much for this tip! Joe-Hartelijk dank voor deze tip! Unfortunately my BES admin is a little reluctant to try new things, if it aint broke dont fix it kind of guy. Helaas is mijn BES admin is een beetje terughoudend om nieuwe dingen te proberen, al is het niet brak dont fix it soort van vent. But i will encourage him to pursue this. Maar ik zal hem aanmoedigen om dit voort te zetten. Although i have a feeling he will not do anything until HTML email is in the picture. Hoewel ik heb het gevoel dat hij zal niets doen totdat HTML e-mail is in het beeld.

    David- You are correct that all imap/pop3 email accounts that you add to your device are given their own email “mailbox” on your home screen. David-U bent correct IMAP/POP3 dat alle e-mailaccounts die u toevoegt aan uw apparaat krijgen hun eigen e-mail "brievenbus" op uw beginscherm. However, when your Berry is connected to a BlackBerry Enterprise server, the server redirects email from your office email account (In my case an Exchange account) and these messages ONLY populate to the general “messages” mailbox. Echter, wanneer uw Berry is aangesloten op een BlackBerry Enterprise Server, de server omleidingen e-mail van uw kantoor e-mail account (In mijn geval een Exchange-account) en deze berichten alleen bevolken naar een algemene "berichten" mailbox. Hence the source of my frustration. Vandaar dat de bron van mijn frustratie. So for me $20 bucks is a drop in the bucket compared to the alternative. Dus voor mij 20 dollar dollar is een druppel in de emmer in vergelijking met het alternatief.

    I'm on a BES and was able to separate out my personal and work messages. Ik ben op een BES en was in staat deze te scheiden van mijn persoonlijke en werk-berichten. As I recall, I had to initially upgrade the software on the device to have options to separate the mailboxes. Als ik me goed herinner, moest ik eerst de software-upgrade op het apparaat naar opties om de afzonderlijke mailboxen hebben. I'm an avid SMS user, and having the SMS messages get dumped in “messages” meant they would get lost. Ik ben een fervent sms-gebruiker, en met de SMS-berichten gedumpt in 'boodschappen' betekende dat ze zou verdwalen. Same with my personal email. Zelfde met mijn persoonlijke e-mail. Let me find the option….Options\General Options\SMS & Email inboxes: separate. Laat mij u de optie .... Options \ General Options \ SMS & E-mail inboxen: aparte. For the separate email, I just went through the icon “personal email setup” and it set it up separate. Voor de afzonderlijke e-mail, ik ging gewoon via het pictogram "persoonlijke e-mail setup" en het instellen van elkaar te scheiden. Maybe the difference is I use Lotus Notes and my mail is on an IBM Domino server. Misschien is het verschil is ik gebruik van Lotus Notes en mijn mail is op een IBM Domino-server. Anyhow, I am happy to be on a BES with separate work, personal, & sms icons and inboxes. Hoe dan ook, ben ik blij dat op een BES met aparte werk, persoonlijke, & sms pictogrammen en inboxen.

    BES Mailbox is not working correctly on the new BlackBerry Bold 9000. BES Mailbox niet goed werkt op de nieuwe BlackBerry Bold 9000. I am unable to "save" changes to the setting for BES Mailbox. Ik ben niet in staat om "" wijzigingen op te slaan om de instelling voor BES Mailbox. I've contact Empower and they have alerted me that they are working to correct the bug. Ik heb contact Empower en ze hebben mij gewaarschuwd dat ze werken aan de bug te corrigeren.
