Hilton.mobi & Marriott.mobi - Book Hotels From Your Berry
June 26th, 2008 by Ronen Halevy
I love discovering all these new .mobi sites. The latest come from Dan who let me know about them last week. The Hilton.mobi and Marriott.mobi websites seem to be run by the same company. Both let you easily book a hotel and check your reservations from your browser.
Dan told me that these were both great bookmarks since he gets caught with layovers from work all the time and needs to find a last minute hotel.
If your the type who would reserve a room from your BlackBerry then head on over to www.hilton.mobi or www.marriott.mobi.

Hey Ronen, Glad you appreciate the service. I work for the company that makes these mobilizes these sites (Usablenet) and I just wanted to let you know that, if you like these, there are many more that you can use. As far as hotels go, we also provide mobile websites for La Quinta, Starwood, Fairmont, 4 Seasons, and launching in a few weeks will be Best Western as well. You don’t even have to use the .mobi address, you can just go to the regular URL and Usablenet Mobile will detect what kind of phone you’re using and provide you with the right view. Thanks again! Ben

I agree these are good Mobi sites. I suggest a good bookmark is the Usablenet Mobile Portal, found at: http://usablenet.mobi/mt/portal/index.html
