Vlingo powered Yahoo OneSearch for BlackBerry a bit back and now they are going solo. Vlingo Yahoo oneSearch potencia de BlackBerry un poco atrás y ahora se van en solitario. They are offering a free service that lets you control your BlackBerry through voice. According to them it lets you “send emails and text messages, search the Web, open applications (BlackBerry, Calendar, BlackBerry, Maps, etc.), dial their phones, look up contacts and even send notes to themselves. Ellos están ofreciendo un servicio gratuito que le permite controlar su voz a través de BlackBerry. Pretty cool if your into voice control. Pretty cool si su voz en el control. I can see it useful for when I am driving but otherwise I would rather stick to my QWERTY keypad. I wont lie, this program is hot, it does what it can, but sometimes it just sucks. I wont mentira, este programa es caliente, hace lo que puede, pero a veces sólo una mierda. I feel like I have to clear my throat, nose lift my neck up and talk like I was taking speech lessons or something. I also won’t lie, this is an AWESOME program. Asimismo, no mentira, se trata de un programa AWESOME. However!! Sin embargo! It needs to map one of your side buttons. There is a work-around for the requirement to assign a convenience key to vlingo. Hay un trabajo en torno a la obligación de asignar una clave de la conveniencia vlingo. Well, I been playing around it also a bunch of times and now it says please speak louder or more close to the phone, if I go any close the phone would be in my mouth, maybe a problem with 4.5 and it but yea. Bueno, yo venido desempeñando en torno a ella también un montón de veces y ahora dice que por favor hable más alto o más cerca del teléfono, si voy cualquier cierre el teléfono esté en mi boca, tal vez un problema con un 4,5 y ella, pero sí.

Pinstack and Crackberry made a big deal out of this and it fell faster than flat soda on a hot day! Pinstack y Crackberry hecho una gran cosa fuera de esto y se redujo más rápido que el plano de soda en un día caluroso!

When I first tired this I really liked it. Cuando por primera vez esta cansado Realmente me gustó. HOWEVER I was at first using it at work where I have WiFi (UMA). Sin embargo yo estaba en primera usarlo en el trabajo donde he WiFi (UMA). When I was out at lunch with only an EDGE connection, it was really slow to send my voice command to their server (they send it out, interpret it, and send the commands back). Cuando fui a almorzar a cabo con sólo una conexión EDGE, es realmente lento para enviar mi voz de mando a su servidor (que envían a cabo, interpretarlo, y enviar comandos de la espalda). So much so I got the Connection Timeout message again and again. Tanto es así que recibí el mensaje Connection Timeout una y otra vez. If I can’t use it unless I’m on UMA, then I can’t use it. Si no puedo usarlo a menos que estoy en la UMA, entonces no puedo usarlo.

Vlingo was a waste of time and it barely worked on bberry curve. Vlingo fue una pérdida de tiempo y que apenas trabajó en bberry curva. Yahoo vlingo is for yahoos. Yahoo vlingo es para yahoos.

I don’t think I want to have to talk to my phone all the time. Creo que no quieren tener que hablar con mi teléfono todo el tiempo. I’m gonna stick with my keyboard. Que voy a seguir con mi teclado. The user experiences above pretty much tell me that I’m making the wiser choice. La mejor experiencia al usuario por encima de casi me dicen que estoy haciendo la elección más sabia.
