Outlook CompletedTask Plugin - Clear Completed Tasks Bug

This is a new one for me. I did not even know that this problem existed until I just tested it out. (Cant 100% confirm) It turns out that there is a bug that when you mark a task complete on your BlackBerry it will mark it as complete in Outlook but it wont remove it from the Outlook Today screen. Who would have thunk?

Turns out that the guys from BBproductivity created a plugin for Outlook that removes all of these completed yet uncleared tasks. It costs $9.99 for this pleasure.

I love their description:

Here’s what happens. You know the drill. You complete tasks on your BlackBerry. Later you intend to go into Outlook Today - hoping to see those tasks completed. After all, you wirelessly synchronize your tasks using BlackBerry Enterprise Server. You expect synchronization.

You open up Outlook Today and find tasks duly marked as completed. But as time goes by, these completed tasks accrue…building up, remaining - and never are removed. The busier you are, the worse the problem.

Do nothing and the problem doesn’t fix itself. Completed tasks linger, confusing you - for days - filling up your Outlook.

Next - you do what a person should never have to do: You remove completed tasks by hand.

Outlook Completed Task! is an Outlook add-in designed for BlackBerry task users. With a single click, Outlook Completed Task! hunts down and corrects tasks in Outlook that have been marked as complete on BlackBerry but still appear on the Outlook Today page. Even those tasks that remain for days after they were completed.
