There are several different ways to set up greetings.

The best way to get started is to go to the “Greetings” tab after logging into youmail.com, and choose the default greeting shortcut. That walks you through recording a default greeting for everyone (on phone or PC) or choose the “record a greeting” and enter a phone number and record the greeting. You can also record personal greetings by hitting 88 on the phone after playing a voicemail.

I downloaded it about 4 days and have been using it without any problems on my Curve 8300. I had been using YouMail and I actually think I like this better, with ONE exception. So far I haven’t found a way to leave a personalized voicemail for callers. Some of my friends have been hanging up, thinking they had the wrong number because the message is just a generic corporate sounding VM. I want to be able to record my own message!

Where are the instructions on how to use this service? .. There web site is a bit lacking on how to setup forwarding on RIM devices ..

Yeah it seems to be a half baked solution. But we try not to discriminate about mentioning new free services. Cant promise that they will always deliver. Sadly most of them do not but I am the kind of guy who has to try everything…

also tried registering and whe I got to the email it required me enter a blackberry.net email address. I am on a BES not BIS so this makes confirming my account completely imposssible.

THe company needs ot shape up or they are going to completely lienate the Blackberry community.

Hey guys I just tried out the sign up process and it works like a charm. You may want to check it again.
While i agree that I hate their flashy website it does seem to work. Personally I would recommend YouMail for now since they have a longer track record

What”s the point of this article if it’s not really available for the blackberry? The link actually verifies this. This article should be removed because it’s going to piss a lot of people off.

OK I went too the Site gave them My E-Mail addy + MY Cellnumber AND OS for Blackberry and it came up NOT COMPATABLE for my Curve HELP!!!!
