DreamBerry Idea – Timezone Calculator For Contacts

The DreamBerry section will be where we will float some application ideas that we hope some developer will create. Feel free to send us some of your ideas to tips(at)berryreview(dot)com. This latest DreamBerry idea comes from Greg.

TimezonemapHe wants an application that will automatically calculate the time zone/time of a contact before you email or call them. This application could be something as simple as a menu option that calculates the contacts time zone. To a more complex application that would recognize the persons time zone by their area/country/zip code and tell you what time it is over there. Or even a per contact setting for each contacts area code if necessary.

Even better would be the ability to set rules such as “pop up warning box when contacts time zone is really early morning (Midnight to 6am).

I know this would not be the most demanded application but quite a few people who call internationally regularly would benefit from it.

Let us know what you think!

How about a YouTube upload app now that I can capture videos via OS 4.5

  2. As someone who does tech support for an international company, I would love to have something like this on my Blackberry. I suspect that the poor souls that I have to support would love for me to have something like this too – nobody likes being awakened at 4:00 am to discuss computer problems.
