Scheduled Outages June 21st & 22nd for North America & Asia-Pacific

So you can plan your schedule…

I got an email from www.dataoutages.com that there will be an outage this coming Sunday in the Americas in the early morning (or late sat night for the west coast). The outage is scheduled for 2 - 6 am Eastern on the 22nd and will be taking everything down with it.

OutagestockworkerThe purpose of the outage is a BlackBerry Infrastructure v3.3 upgrade to v3.4 which is gibberish to me.

There are actually another two outages scheduled for the Asia-Pacific region on June 21st and 22nd. The time is scheduled from 15:00 GMT to 19:00 GMT on the 21st and 06:00 GMT to 10:00 GMT on the 22nd. They are doing some maintenance on BIS 2.5 so all BIS accounts should be out of commission during the outage. BES accounts may also be taken out.

Thanks to the good guys at www.dataoutages.com for the info! Check them out for more details

Since I became a Blackberry user, that old classic joke about the Internet closing on weekends doesn’t seem so funny anymore.
