Friday 13th Safer Than Average Friday

Sorry guys, this is totally off-topic. It’s just a slow news day so I get to scrape the bottom of my brain.

Friday13thgameOver the weekend, I was having a discussion with a friend about it being Friday the 13th. I argued that it was all a hoax, but it was a damn good video game. (I found you can play the Nintendo game online at this link.)

So it turns out that some Dutch researchers agree with me. They did a study of insurance claims on Fridays and found that Friday the 13th is actually safer than your average Friday. At least in Dutchland.

Did you know that there is actually a term for the fear of Friday the 13th? Its called paraskavedekatriaphobia. You can read all about it on Wikipedia.
