OS 4.5.0.37 Official Releases For 8100, 8110, 8310, & 8800

Not sure who found this first so why not give credit to all. At least those are the ones I found. (Sorry studying for the CISM exam this Sunday)

HappyCat

Turns out that Vodaphone has released official versions of OS 4.5.0.37 for the 8100, 8110, 8310, & 8800. I guess that contrary to public opinion OS 4.5.0.37 was more than just a beta release. Now that makes me wonder about OS 4.5.0.42 that is floating around…

You can find them at these links. Don’t forget to backup before and delete the vendor.xml file.

Download 4.5.0.37 for 8100
Download 4.5.0.37 for 8110
Download 4.5.0.37 for 8310
Download 4.5.0.37 for 8800

If you’re having issues I would recommend checking or opening a thread on BBforums, CrackBerry, or Pinstack.

Took you long enough RIM! Last I heard all the Beta builds were yanked from the BlackBerry Universe Partners site so something might be afoot…

Back to studying…

Heck to da Yeah! I tried 4.5.0.37 and 4.5.0.42 and they both suck for 8320. .37 fried my sim card, then began to soft reset over and over again until i reinstalled 4.2 and .42 kept soft resetting also over and over again. I hope when they release the update for 8320, all the bugs are out. I’ll be trying no more beta OS’ until full release. It takes too long to load to have to worry about the resetting over and over again. What a drain.

I am using 4.5.0.42 and had some issues at first…then I deleted all the vendor themes that I unlocked and have not had 1 issue. It is running smooth and fast.

Don’t reinstall if you already have the 37 beta it is the same exact version. Wait for the next carrier to release a 4.5.0.4x/5x to reinstall.

I have my CISSP, CISM and CISA…..good luck to both Ronen and Paul!!!!
