Desktop Manager 4.6 Found In The Wild

Seriously RIM has been having fun recently with these planned leaks. I have been getting emails all weekend with links to Desktop Manager 4.6 showing up all over online.
I guess maybe this is RIM’s way to open up a public beta test? Version 4.5 is also pretty easy to find.

If its 4.6.0.14 it runs VERY slow when syncing.
OOps, missed that this was 4.6 and not 4.5. My bad.
4.5 runs very fast when syncing. will be curious to see how this compares (or if it causes any probs)…

Wow I can’t tell you how many times I tried to DL this today. Under both FireFox and IE I could never get it to download, but finally I tried Opera (already had it installed) and boom it is downloading now. No idea why only Opera did it.

I downloaded this but get 4.5. Anybody else having this issue?

Why the heck would I use the same link and get 4.5 and everyone else get 4.6?
I downloaded it but cant get the sync to work for media, keeps saying do you want to download the media sync, does a super fast download ad then give the same message….anyone????
I’m looking at it on Rapidshare and it says “460_b008_multilanguage_nomediamanager.exe” so I’d say YES it’s Beta 8 and NO it doesn’t have the media stuff.
It says that but I get 4.5…no idea why. Downloaded it 5 times.
