CitySense - Find Out Whats Happening Near You

Don’t get your hopes up so far this is only available in San Francisco but it is promising. CitySense tracks yours and other users movements to see where something is happening. Its the epitome of pack instincts. If there are many people crowded at one place there must be something to see…

Its an interesting twist on LBS (location based services) but not all that innovative. Truthfully I am interested in seeing how this plays out.
Anybody in the Golden City who wants to report back?

I don’t know how useful this app will be for a consumer (what it’ll show is where Wal*Mart is, not where the “cool” clubs are), but it’s pretty sexy. I want to check it out just for that…
