The 3G is already running in New York and the metropolitan areas around it from what I have read and heard. I just dont have a 3G phone to confirm it. It will be released to TMO shortly after, but only in markets where 3G is up and running. Currently just NY and all the other major markets should be up and running by the year's end. But I spoke with a TMO rep and he told me they will get the Bold but after ATT's short exclusive period, around late Sept/Oct. He did specifically state it would only be released in 3G markets.
