Get your Football (What we Americans call Soccer) fix this year with a shortcut to m.goal.com on your homescreen. Personally I think you can just shortcut this yourself with a bookmark but RIM likes to create shortcuts for us. It makes them feel productive.
I am not much of a Football person so here is how they describe Goal.com:
When you click on the icon you will be directed to Goal.com Mobile, with instant access to news and scores from EURO2008 and the entire soccer world.
You can find the download on mobile.blackberry.com and if you just go directly to this link. The website seems to have a bug where it does not return the right language sometimes. I got Deutsch the first timeβ¦

Thanks for the link, I had the same problem with the language – for me it was Spanish the first time which was a bigger problem than German would have meant to me (as Austrian π

I guess the problem is that the user is not correct for the language π
I DO understand spanish, german, english but they just show me a couple of dots – nope, it is NOT Morse-code, as I could figure that out.
I guess this means that I am FORCED to watch the matches π

I added m.Goal.com to my bookmarks, and later the home screen icon. I never had anything other than English show up. I did notice the site lets you pick which language you want. Have you tried that? I know that’s hard if you can’t determine which link in that language means “Change Language” π
I personally prefer the mobile ESPN page to pay attention to Euro2008 on my BlackBerry because the Usability/Navigation of m.Goal.com seems quite sub-par.
