All of you BIS users rejoice. Jullie BIS gebruikers verheugen. BIS 2.5 is almost upon us and RIM has released the full feature list for the latest update. BIS 2.5 is bijna op ons en RIM heeft vrijgegeven de volledige feature lijst voor de laatste update. Many of these features requires OS 4.5 along with BIS 2.5 so don't get your hopes up so fast… Thanks Veel van deze functies vereist OS 4.5 samen met BIS 2,5 dus niet krijgen uw hoop op zo snel ... In a nutshell: In een notendop:

  • Attachment downloading in the native file format Attachment downloaden in de oorspronkelijke bestandsindeling
  • HTML email message viewing HTML e-mail bericht bekijken
  • Support for Windows Live Hotmail integration Ondersteuning voor Windows Live Hotmail-integratie

Sadly there are quite a few caveats. Helaas zijn er nogal wat kanttekeningen. For example external images will have to be loaded using the menu button. Zo zal externe afbeeldingen moeten worden geladen met behulp van de menu-knop. Not all carriers will support Windows Live push email. Niet alle maatschappijen zal ondersteunen Windows Live push e-mail. You will have to reactivate windows live push every 90 days.     Is BIS worth having on a BB, I have unlimited internet and stuff, but is the email system really that fast and efficient? Is het de moeite waard BIS heeft op een BB, heb ik onbeperkt internet enzo, maar is de e-mail systeem eigenlijk dat snel en efficiënt?

    BIS email works great. BIS e-mail works great. Apart from the couple of outages recently, everything is v quick and efficient. Afgezien van de paar uitval's, alles tegen snel en efficiënt.

    ALL Blackberry smartphones are either BIS or BES. Alle BlackBerry-smartphones zijn ofwel BIS of BES. Unless you are paying the premium for BES access (or using a company supplied berry), you already HAVE BIS. Tenzij u het betalen van de premie voor de BES toegang (of met een bedrijf leverde Berry), heeft u al BIS. It's not something you pay extra to have like BES is, having a data plan for a Blackberry (at least here in the USA with all providers I know of) means you have BIS. Het is niet iets wat je extra betalen te hebben als BES is, met een data-plan voor een Blackberry (ten minste hier in de VS met alle leveranciers die ik ken), betekent dat je BIS.

    Well I have T-mobile and I have a choice of activating BIS on the blackberry because I dont have a tmobile blackberry email address. Nou ik heb T-mobile en ik heb een keuze van het activeren van BIS op de BlackBerry dont want ik heb een tmobile BlackBerry e-mailadres. It was saying on my online account if I want to activate it I have to sign up to terms and agreement. Het is te zeggen op mijn online account als ik wil om het te activeren ik heb te ondertekenen voorwaarden en overeenkomst. Honestly I know I don't have it on my phone because Im paying for the regular tmobile internet which is like 20 bucks a month. Eerlijk gezegd ik weet dat ik hem niet op mijn telefoon, omdat Im betalen voor de reguliere tmobile internet die is als 20 dollar per maand. I mean does anybody who has tmobile concur with that? Ik bedoel niet iedereen die heeft tmobile eens met dat?

    Yo, I have tmobile and I pay $20 a month for BIS, I get unlimited everything except calling. Yo, ik heb tmobile en ik betaal 20 dollar per maand voor BIS, krijg ik alles behalve onbeperkt bellen.

    Well then I got suckered into the unlimited regular tmobile internet i have to wait like 3 more months before I can disable that and add on the tmo BIS plan to my regular package. Nou toen kreeg ik suckered in de reguliere tmobile onbeperkt internet i moeten wachten als 3 maanden voordat ik dat kan uitschakelen en voeg op het TMO BIS plan om mijn gewone pakket. Thanks joey.
