Ads In Mobile Games Get 10% Click Through Rate
This is a trend I have not seen in BlackBerry games… yet. GigaOM is reporting that mobile games are getting about 10.1% click through rate which is astonishing. That means that 10% of the people who see the ad click on it!
Compared to the less than 1% average for web ads this is very high. The research has been done by a company called GreyStripe that offers ad supported games for every device other than BlackBerrys on GameJump.com.
So are ad supported games coming to the BlackBerry? I know quite a few people who would bear advertisements for a free game. Personally I am not looking forward to the idea.
