AAA Mobile Website
AAA’s mobile website may have been around for awhile but in my continued quest to find useful mobile websites, I only recently came across it.
While I’m not sure if this site is specifically meant to be viewed on a Blackberry Curve screen (everything looks a little small) it worked fine for me regardless. Upon going to their main mobile site on your Blackberry browser AAA.com it will ask you for your zip code (so whether you’re in your home area or traveling, you can find the information local to the area).
From there are links to several services such as their ‘Road Service’ hotline. This is a nice little feature if you’ve got an AAA membership as the hotline number is listed and can be easily dialed in a simple move (very handy when you’re stuck somewhere and don’t feel like searching for the number). There’s also links to local ‘Driving Directions’, ‘Discounts’ and a ‘Tour Book’ section which lists hotels, restaurants, driving directions, etc. in your area (keep in mind not every hotel, restaurant, etc. may be listed).
I personally liked the ‘Discounts’ section which showed me that my local home decor store was giving a 10% discount…something I may have not known about otherwise. Now if I can just drag my husband out to buy curtains with me ;0)
