Recently the BlackBerry has been inundated with location sharing and buddy finding applications. The latest that I have found is called Ipoki and has some nice features.

What is ipoki?

 • GPS based social network

What can you do with ipoki?

 • Share your location with everybody using Google Maps

 • Locate your friends and family anywhere

 • Connect to other users who share their location

 • Track anyone with a GPS enable device in realtime

 • Follow people on Google Maps and Google Earth

You install a client to your BlackBerry from this link:
www.ipoki.com/download.php

You can then report your location to others on the website. There is even mobile version of the desktop website at www.ipoki.mobi.

Pretty interesting service if your into this kind of thing. As a side note Josep told me that this app does not work over BIS-Transport so international users may be left out on this one.
