I just got an email about Michael Small’s latest creation called Electric Zen/Today. The theme comes in Zen style for the 8300 & 8800 and Today style for the 8100. The theme has great icons but they are a similar color to the background. The top bar looks really slick but I wish the email [...]

I just got an email from Loopt that they have released a BlackBerry client for their social network. Personally I have no clue what Loopt does that Facebook does not but I am not much of a social networking buff.
So far the application seems to only be available for Sprint BlackBerry devices but supposedly Verizon [...]

Thanks for Paul for sending in this latest theme from urbanimpulse. These two themes were released on BBForums and look great. I do not have a test 8100 to take screenshots but they look pretty slick and well designed. The themes are Icon only so no today or Zen styles. The top bar is really [...]

Cherri Chiodo just released two themes that really impressed me. There is one for the guys and one for the girls. The first, Pink Blossom is a beautiful theme that really catches the eye. The icons are a bit understated for me but they do look nice. The xBerry theme seems to be a rip [...]

Simon at BBCool has gotten some more confirmation on the feature sets of OS 4.5 and 4.6. OS 4.5 is still set to release this summer for everything but the 8707 which is what we expected. I am surprised it is including the 8703 versions but that has happened before.
They also have confirmed OS 4.6 [...]

Bplay has just released another set of themes from their Star Wars collection. I guess movie themes are a real hit. This latest list includes the Star Wars characters Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, & the Stormtroopers theme. Personally I liked the Boba Fett theme the best. These themes use the same icon set as the [...]
