GotVoice - Another Voicemail To Text Service With A Twist

First there was SpinVox, then there was SimulScribe/Phonetag, then callwave, the latest contender is GotVoice. Everybody has their favorites but I personally love PhoneTag. Now there is a new contender.

GotvoicetalkingavitarsGotVoice has the same core voicemail to text functionality but they have added a few twists. First of all they have a funny thing called Talking Avatars where you can have different characters lipsync your voicemails. You can make your boss the devil and then upload it to youtube, Facebook, or MySpace and get fired!!! So far I have seen a cat, devil, & dracula avatars and I have to admit it is pretty funny.

There are 3 plans for the GotVoice service. They seem to not want to compare the difference for you so I cant seem to find a good way to tell the difference between the 3.

  • The first is free and is called GotVoice Lite. Doesn’t have voice to text but does work.
  • The second is Professional for $9.95/month
  • Third is Premium for the same $9.95/month

Wish I could give you more information but I have been looking all over for a comparison chart. See if you can find more info at www.gotvoice.com.
