Opentable BlackBerry Application - Make Restaurant Reservations

OpentablemobioscreenI know most people including myself will just make reservations over the phone. This post is for the select few who would rather do it online. The website www.opentable.com has been letting you make reservations from your desktop for quite awhile. They now have released an application for BlackBerry devices to let you make reservations from your Berry.

This free service/application lets you make reservations at over 8,000 restaurants in the United States AND internationally.

Check out the countries and states covered at this link:
http://www.opentable.com

You need to register to get the download link to the application. You can read about it at this link. It turns out that they also have a mobile version of their site at mobile.opentable.com if you would rather not install the application.Let us know if your reservations work.

PS: This seems to work through Mobio but I am not sure the connection since I have not tried it myself. Just thought you would want to know…

Mobio seems to be the maker of the downloadable app. It looks pretty similar to their own app bundle available at http://getmobio.com/nowbb for BlackBerry. I tried both the mobile browser version and the downloadable version. The downloadable one really worked quite well and was much easier to use.

I could not get the download. It presented me with an “x’ed out” picture of a verification code to enter, and a submit link that had no function. This was for the downloadable version (and was after the point where you log in to your opentable account).
