More Confirmation Of OS 4.5 & 4.6 Features

BlackberryosblackberrycooltSimon at BBCool has gotten some more confirmation on the feature sets of OS 4.5 and 4.6. OS 4.5 is still set to release this summer for everything but the 8707 which is what we expected. I am surprised it is including the 8703 versions but that has happened before.

They also have confirmed OS 4.6 for 2nd half of 08 with more of less the same features we have seen before. This time there are new screenshots of the iTunes sync, clock, & web browser upgrades.

PS: BBcool is undergoing a Wordpress update today so you may experience some funkyness with their site. Right now it is showing the mobile version of their website to everybody.

    I SOOOOOO need 4.5 for my 8830! Come on Verizon, get with it!!!

    I could care less about iTunes sync. But the alarm clock and browser rendering updates in 4.6 look to be nice. Though I have to wonder how those rendering updates will perform on our slower (i.e. not Bold) devices???

    Any word on when an OS 4.5.X update will be available for the 8703e?

    I’m really starting to feel left out of all of this 4.5 upgrade joy and am beginning to get antsy… :^)
