e-Mobile Today – Today Screen Application For BlackBerry

This has to be one of the closest Windows Mobile today screens I have seen for BlackBerry so far. Seems like a great application for Windows Mobile converts. I just wish RIM would come up with one themselves that is not a theme.

The application is available now from their website for $19.95. It not only does the basics but if you buy the expansion packs it adds news and stock streaming to the mix. I like how you can dig down into each menu option and see more than one email, calendar, task, and call log.

Check out more screenshots on the product page. Hopefully a review will be coming soon.

    No trial availible? :(

  2. yeah I already emailed them about that… :) You read my mind

  3. They don’t offer trials, but they are good about giving you money back. I got my money back on E-Mobile Tasks within minutes. Of course, it was only 5 minutes between the time I purchased and I decided it was rubbish.

Those that have tried this application find it a great start, but it pales in comparison to PocketDay. It is prettier, though.

The same can be said about their other apps: great starts, pretty, but they lack what it takes to be worth an actual purchase.

  4. I didn’t like PocketDay. I want a homescreen instead of an application that I have to run. Does E-Mobile Today work as a homescreen?
