Kevin at CrackBerry broke the news of the BlackBerry Bold name for the new 9000 series. He now has the cold hard specs for the upcoming Bold-Berry (previously codename Niagara & Javelin)
So let me introduce the Specs & Features for the new BlackBerry Bold! My favorite is the Memory upgrade and the DIVX support.

I said it over there last night, and I’ll say it here too. I’m just not buying the 1GB of RAM thing. I think something is being misread, and this is going to be announced as 128MB of Flash (an improvement anyway) and a removable 1GB microSD card is included. 1GB of RAM would be such a total departure for RIM. And such a major hardware leap so late in the game when NO report to date has hinted at such a change (but nailed every other hardware spec)???

Yeah I know it seems a bit fanciful. But maybe…
If you are already going to dream you might as well dream big. I dont put much stock in rumors which is why I try not to post them that often. I would rather wait until I have the device in hand
