Hi Luciano,

I'd like to mention that the application is still most definitely in beta. gCalc is part of a suite of mobile learning content, so what you've seen is just the beginning of what gWhiz will be offering. To that end, your honest critique is very welcome input and will certainly be incorporated in future releases.

With regards to the documentation being on a website - we did that primarily to conserve the limited space on the device. It also allows us to update/correct documentation as things are found.

Thanks for reviewing us....Hopefully you'll take another look as we get further along!

Thanks for the clarification. I think I'll keep my old version and won't up/downgrade.

In retrospect, I realize I should have mentioned that one can zoom in and out and sort of "navigate" across the chart. But then I'd also have to add that the controls are not very smooth.

You have an old version of gCalc. It used to be standalone, I've had that version too. But the new one comes bundled with gFlash+.

I have gCalc! on my blackberry and it works just fine. I downloaded it OTA and got just gCalc! without any other apps. When starting mine has no splash screen, no progress indicator etc. and goes right to the blue chart screen in less than a half-second--my informal timing tests show it starts in the same as the built-in blackberry calculator.

Beyond that I consider this a special purpose calculator. If I (a bona fide engineer) need graphing functions and the ability to zoom in/out/around a graph this is great. If I need a simple history this works for that too.
