Het was net gisteren dat ik per e-mail een heleboel andere bloggers over BlackBerry Unite. It had been getting to the point where I thought Unite was vaporware. Het was om naar het punt waar ik dacht dat Unite was vaporware. RIM came up and surprised me today by announcing and releasing BlackBerry Unite on Bell Canada! RIM kwam en verrast me vandaag door aan te kondigen en loslaten BlackBerry Unite op Bell Canada!

As a reminder BlackBerry Unite allows BES like functionality for up to 5 users. Ter herinnering BlackBerry Unite laat BES als functionaliteit voor maximaal 5 gebruikers. It lets you share documents, files, calendars, contacts and much more. Hiermee kunt u documenten delen, bestanden, agenda's, contacten en nog veel meer.

    Downloaded, installed and works fine with Telus as well. Gedownload, geïnstalleerd en werkt prima met Telus ook. Not sure if I need it but was bored and it worked fine. Niet zeker of ik het nodig maar was verveeld en het werkte prima.

    Anyone? Anyone? I tried to merge my @tmo.blackberry.net e-mail with Unite! Ik heb geprobeerd om my@tmo.blackberry.net e-mail met samenvoegen Unite! and couldn't get the server, STMP, and/or port numbers right. en kon niet de server, SMTP-en / of poortnummers rechts. I did learn it's IMAP and not POP. Ik heb wel geleerd dat het niet IMAP en POP. I called T-Mo, who called RIM, and they said “Hey, that's only for Bell! Ik belde T-Mo, die riep RIM, en ze zei: "He, dat is alleen voor Bell! Hands off!” I got a laugh from the T-Mo rep telling me that. Handen af! "Ik kreeg een lach van de T-Mo rep vertellen me dat. Anyway, can anyone tell me what incoming server name, SMTP server name, port numbers, and if I should check SSL for my @tmo.blackberry.net account? Hoe dan ook, kan iemand me vertellen wat inkomende naam van de server, SMTP-server naam, poortnummers, en als ik SSL moet controleren op my@tmo.blackberry.net account? Am I wrong to assume I should be able to do this? Ben ik verkeerd om te veronderstellen ik dit kunnen doen?

    The ability to browse/use Internet through the network of where Unite! De mogelijkheid om te bladeren / gebruik van internet via het netwerk van waar Unite! is installed great. geïnstalleerd groot. That way you can access your servers at home network, without need of port forwarding. Op die manier hebt u toegang tot uw servers thuis netwerk, zonder behoefte van port forwarding. Plus you can also download files from your hard drive. Plus kunt u ook downloaden van bestanden van uw harde schijf. Those are two cool features Dat zijn twee coole functies

    Nikolaus, why on earth do you want to do that anyways? Nikolaus, waarom op aarde wil je dat doen anyways? You can access your tmo.blackberry.net through BIS anyway. U kunt uw tmo.blackberry.net via BIS anyway. I don't think BIS accounts support imap or pop3 themselves. Ik denk niet dat BIS rekeningen ondersteuning IMAP of POP3 zelf.

    I wanted to do that because in order to create a user, you have to supply an e-mail. Ik wilde dat doen, want om een gebruiker te maken, moet u leveren een e-mail. Once you supply an e-mail (ie @blackberry.net) it wants to set up the POP or IMAP settings. Zodra u het aanbod van een e-mail (ie@blackberry.net) wil het instellen van de POP-of IMAP-instellingen. I honestly just want to get calendar shared to start with, media too. Ik eerlijk wil gewoon gedeelde agenda om te beginnen, de media ook. I am frustrated that I have to setup e-mail just to add a user. Ik ben gefrustreerd dat ik moet instellen e-mail alleen maar om een gebruiker toe te voegen.

    Sems, you write you got it to work with ATT. Sems, schrijf je dat je het hebt om te werken met ATT. Did you use your att.blackberry.net to create your Unite! Heeft u uw att.blackberry.net om uw Unite! user? gebruiker? From your other comment I guess not. Van uw andere opmerking die ik denk het niet.

    Of course not, I used a personal imap account on my domain. Natuurlijk niet, gebruikte ik een persoonlijke IMAP-account op mijn domein. U can get a free gmail account if u don't have any pop3 or imap accounts. U kunt een gratis gmail account als u nog geen POP3 of IMAP-accounts.

    Anyone know how to delete it from the Blackberry and set calendar/phonebook etc to use desktop synch again? Iedereen weet hoe het te verwijderen uit de Blackberry en stel agenda / telefoonboek etc aan desktop synchronisatie opnieuw te gebruiken?

    Simply go to Options – Advanced Options – Service Books and delete all the Unite related service books. Ga gewoon naar Opties - Geavanceerde opties - Service Boeken en verwijder alle Unite diensten in verband met boeken.
